Banana cake
Ingredients:
200g Flour
100g Sugar (I use Demerara)
1 Packet of levadura
1 Teaspoon of Canela (I normally put about two, but it depends on how
much you like it!)
3 Bananas
100 ml leche
50 g of butter (can also use low fat spread)
1 egg (beaten)
Instructions:
1. Sieve all the dry ingredients together in a bowl
(flour/sugar/levadura/canela)
2. Melt the butter in a pan and leave to cool a little - be careful not
to burn or cook it.
3. Mash the bananas in a bowl - until they look like baby food !
4. Add to the banana the milk and the egg - mix
5. Now add the banana mixture to the dry ingredients and FOLD the
mixture slightly.
6. Also add the melted butter - FOLD together.
7. Put in a cake tin, in the oven 150 degrees and bake for about 20
minutes or until a knife comes out clean.
TRICK: The trick is that you don´t over mix the ingredients because the
mixture should be airy !!!
And there you have it - you can also make a lovely cake !!!
